A proposta tem como objetivo fortalecer o turismo integrado e sustent\u00e1vel, al\u00e9m de ampliar pol\u00edticas de valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o do patrim\u00f4nio hist\u00f3rico, cultural e ambiental da cidade.<\/p>\n<p>Na justificativa, o parlamentar ressalta que Olinda \u00e9 um dos principais destinos tur\u00edsticos do pa\u00eds, reconhecida como Patrim\u00f4nio Cultural da Humanidade pela Unesco. O conjunto arquitet\u00f4nico e paisag\u00edstico re\u00fane igrejas seculares, conventos, mercados p\u00fablicos, ladeiras e mirantes naturais que formam um dos s\u00edtios coloniais mais preservados das Am\u00e9ricas.<\/p>\n<p>O projeto lista os principais bens e atrativos que passam a integrar formalmente a \u00c1rea Especial de Interesse Tur\u00edstico, entre eles o S\u00edtio Hist\u00f3rico de Olinda, os Quatro Cantos, a Igreja e Mosteiro de S\u00e3o Bento, a Igreja da S\u00e9 e o Alto da S\u00e9, o Farol de Olinda, o Convento de S\u00e3o Francisco, os mercados da Ribeira, da Quinta e Eufr\u00e1sio Barbosa, al\u00e9m do Parque Memorial Arcoverde, da orla e das praias do munic\u00edpio.<\/p>\n<p>Tamb\u00e9m est\u00e3o inclu\u00eddos o polo gastron\u00f4mico do Alto da S\u00e9, os ateli\u00eas de arte e artesanato do S\u00edtio Hist\u00f3rico, o s\u00edtio natural das colinas e mirantes, o Circuito dos Bonecos Gigantes, o Carnaval de Olinda e seus cortejos, os terreiros e espa\u00e7os de matriz africana reconhecidos como patrim\u00f4nio imaterial, as festas religiosas tradicionais e manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es culturais como frevo, maracatu e afox\u00e9s.
